I found Michael Morris' documentation of the Hermann Nitsch performance at the Western Front particularly interesting. The painterly quality of the photographs weirdly subverts the deconstructive "anti-art" Actionist performance, but at the same time underpins Nitsch's background education and the foundation of the work in (and in antitheses to) classical painting.
